yet another washed up fighter chasing glory....i see mccullough's being lined up for the next prizefighter series.barry hearn should be ashamed of himself, using the name of mccullough to promote this sorry promotion.

I couldnt agree more Wayne had a great career and should stay retired . The last thing anyone would want is to see is him risking lasting damage against younger fighters.

I'll have to support him if he is fighting but it really is disgusting to see. :-(
What's worse, if he wins it, he won't stop at that, at least if he is brutally destroyed the penny may finally drop. It wasn't too long ago he was calling out Bernard Dunne when he was champion, his gloves should be left alone, he has nothing to prove.

even if mccullough were to win the competition.....so what?he must really be on his uppers if he needs to risk his health for a measly jackpot of £32000.stay retired wayne,or risk becoming yet another punchy loser with no self respect.

  6. I love "The Pocket Rocket" but he's been done years ago. Wayne go into commentary or promotion or training or something!!!

to be honest, I dont think they would...

not many boxing fans over here want to see Wayne back in the ring, certainly not gonna pay for a 1 sided beat down.

Wayne is a Legend though, i just wish he would stay the **** outa the ring

to be fair teeto,he's hardly a legend.but a more than decent pro who did himself proud against some of the best of his generation.just so sad that he hasn't found anything else to fill the void in his life now that his best days are ten years behind him...

Hes a punchbag and could end up like Paul Ingle with his Defence. He Blocks Punches with his head. Remember the Beating he took against Harrison! Scary ****

I think hes looked at than more than just a decent pro, especially in the states. McCullough has great respect from all corners of the fight game. Anyway, he shouldnt be fighting in this. It aint the money, its the prestige for Wayne and if he doesnt quit soon hes gonna put himself in danger of a bad beating

The Pocket Rocket was a brave little fighter in his day and one that was respected. Not so much because of his speed or power, but he could take just about anyone's punches and kept on coming. He took the best of Erik Morales and Naseem Hamed. He's in no state to be fighting especially today. Tragedy waiting to happen man. Why the people close to him aren't on top of this IDK?

i pray that wayne has an eleventh hour epiphany experience and comes to his senses and tells barry hearn to stick his lousy competition where the sun don't shine.to a lesser extent the same goes for esham pickering...
