    - So, apparently Sky are pulling out of the PPV market for the foreseeable future and if true, that is a big blow to FW - who is Sky's prominent PPV promoter.

    - Then, without notice a new boxing channel pops up on the Sky Platform, BoxNation - showing old FW cards.

    - Two of Wazza's sons have opened a new promotional outfit, seemingly to run smaller shows for some of FWs prospect.

    - Add to that the tension between Adam Smith and FW after the Liverpool card and controversial Nicky Cook-Ricky Burns 'fight'.

    - Then in this weeks Boxing News Johnny Nelson is one of the panelists that is asked which belt is the worst of the ABCs. Nelson laments the WBO and slates the dubious rankings system.

    - In FW's column today, he takes a pop at Johnny Nelson for slating the WBO (two of Wazza's fighters Ricky Burns and Cleverly have WBO crowns).

I wonder if Wazza is going to be still at Sky in the new season, or will he launch something new with Boxnation?

Well Johnny got it this week. I mean someone always has to take it from Frank in his column.

Did Warrren made any money from his PPVs?

Aye, you've called it right, Gasman.

Boxnation might very well turn out to be a vehicle for Fwank to do his own PPVs.

If I was Sky and he did this, he would become a rival. Therefore no publicity, no mentions on SSN or Talksport (who obviously have a link with Sky) etc.

Thus, he would find it hard to achieve having to rely on newspapers and the better websites, some of whom he has threatened with legal action over the years.

Then again, it should be good for the fans because he'd have to come up with something really good to persuade punters to part with their money, not that I ever will for one of his promotions, no matter who is boxing.

There must have been a discussion about the WBO contenders and lack of quality control at Sky? I would be very surprised if Nelson just expressed a mere personal opinion like this, if it wasnt in line with the views of the senior guys at Sky.

I wonder how long Degale sticks around with Wazza with no PPV or mega-hype from Sky and wonder when his contract expires with Wazza? I wouldnt be surprised to see him head off to the US and follow in Khan's footsteps.

The lesson in all of this is the follyness of having a policy to pay inflated wages to Olympic prospects were they have to be rushed onto PPV to cover the costs.

Hahahaha on frank, glad sky got a backbone and called it for what it was. Fair play to sky. Nick Cook fought for a world title, that alone shows just how ****ed up the situation got! **** Frank and **** the wbo and their bull****. Massive credit to sky, I just hope they put everything into Matchroom now.

I think the penny has dropped where all promoters are going to have to put together stacked cards with competitive fights. About bloody time. Britain is a huge boxing nation (ie the fans) and in recent years the shows we have been subjected to especially PPV have been a joke.

Agreed, but no-one took the **** more than Haye. That **** kicked all the casuals in the bollocks with his smash and grab ppv tactics.

You can't blame Haye, it was Sky's own fault. Haye was prepared to go straight for Wlad til Sky got involved and built up the Haye/Harrison enemies joke.

Before that fight was even signed, Haye and Adam Booth laughed it off. Sure they could've turned down an easy 3 million quid but who's gonna do that?

Come on...Haye isn't the reason why Sky are cautious about PPV, why should they be as he is the one who probably delivered their biggest payday...if anything its Khan with low numbers and ****** serving up his shite that has put paid to the format.

 when you ignore the fact he was the P4P king of boredom then yeah he wasn't bad.

Some of his fights were unwatchable.
