There is talk that the winner of Marquez and Diaz fight could be fighting for one of these belts or both? I can agree with one, but both? I don't think I have ever heard of any fighter becoming a unified champ on two vacant belts.

Marquez is one hell of a fighter, should win this fight, but you never know. Diaz had better bring more to the table than he did vs. Campbell.

To be fair though is there anyone else at 135 who can make immediate claim to deserving those belts? I personally have no problem so long as there continues to be unification of some kind.

I hear that Kahn/Barrera is suppose to be for the WBO title, so its most likely going to be for the WBA if it is.

I doubt it will be for one belt let alone 2

The WBA isnt going to snub their interim champion Moses

and Frank Warren has the WBO sanction in his pocket and will ask them to put it on the line for Barrera-Khan

its probably ibf rather than wba as they already have a 'regular' champ

I still say they should just strip all "Champions" of their belts and just auction them off on eBay...

One, but not two. I thought everyone is saying that the LW division is hot with talent. You have many good fighters at that weight class. You also have a interim champ. Barrera vs Khan for a belt? Like most of us have already agreed, it is all about the money.

I was just about to say that.... Plus Nate was on the verge of dropping that belt prior to that fight....

Barrera is the WBO mandatory so with that said, Diaz/Marquez will probably be fighting for an interim belt of either the WBA or WBO..... I wouldnt mind seeing MAB aainst either Diaz or Marquez.... And for that matter, even Amir Khan....
