WBA grants Wlad permission to make a voluntary defense before facing Povetkin

    Wlad/Pov, have until Feb. 28 to reach a deal. If they don't, there will be a March 18th purse bid. With the contest happening no later then July 31. Split will be 75% Klit, 25%Pov. In the event Wlad loses during his voluntary, Povetkin would face the winner of the that fight at an even 50/50 purse split.
    It is also under condition that before the Voluntary fight, that the Wlad/Pov fight will have a signed contract.

    The Klitschko camp always maintained that they had that long anyway and the WBA just showed that, it looks to me.

    This is what happen last time at Wlad/Pov presser. Somehow I don't think Povetkin will be to heartbroken
