Doesn't matter either way, Khan will have his belt back after he beats Peterson, again. Don't understand all this unwarranted hate for Khan, he had every right to be upset after the disgraceful hometown jobbing in DC. Noone gives him credit for defending his title in his opponents backyard, especially in America robbery capital of the world.
Warning to ESB long-winded rant coming.... I actually scored the first fight for Khan even with the two deductions. So originally, I felt sorry for Khan and thought he got jobbed in his opponents home town. But after the fight his team and him went on what I feel was a bull**** propoganda campaign and that has really made me loss respect for them. I never bought any of the BS surrounding a mystery man or any of the other screw ball excuses they could never back up with anything more then cricumstantial BS. Point and case --> they never followed through on any of their threats to go to a hearing or take legal action. This whole episode is just another instance of what I percieve as a surface level affect of the behind-closed-doors lobbying, bribbing and deal making that is part and parcel of what a lot of people call "the bussiness of boxing". Another word for this crap is corruption. And lately I've been noticing that the "business of boxing" is ****ing up the "sport of boxing" way more of then it used to. What this move by the WBA basically comes down to is that Amir has way better connections to the governing bodies then Peterson does. It also shows just how ****ed you are in the game of boxing if you don't have a powerful promoter and management team. I have a love hate relationship with Amir Khan. I love his skills but I hate his style. I love his heart but I hate his attitude. What gets me the most about this **** though is litterally everytime I want to get behind him and cheer for him, he either does something rediculously asinine and pompus. Or someone from his management does some really shady ****. I think now I'm probably done cheering for him. He can be straight-up dude but at the end of the day he's a self serving asswhole and his team are a bunch of dick-bag criminals with low morals (p.s. I know thats a redundant statement). Lamont Peterson beat up Khan bad in the first fight and I hope he uses all the bull**** games and attempts to discredit his victory that Khan and his camp have tried as motivation. I hope he trains like a badass. And i hope he ****s up Khans world in the rematch.
I don't care what HBO says. "I've never seen a point taken for holding?" Thats bull****, I've seen poeple disqualified for holding. Henry Akenwande vs Lennox Lewis anyone? I think the second point was a little harsh, being in the last ronud and with out much warning, but IMO at least one piont should have been taken for hold that is that blatant.
Lol, okay great, my big long rant was for nothing:nut Oh well, **** it, I'm sticking to my guns, "****'EM UP PETERSON!!!!!!":yep
**** that ref and his leniency towards pushing...... poor Peterson was being pushed shoved all night with not much punishment.. at least he got the holding right.
I want Peterson to lay Khan out - I hope Peterson is training harder than ever. WBA = We're Backing Amir
