You're late to the party on this one man. They pulled the same stunt last year when Arum got them to elevate Margarito to super champ despite the fact that he hadn't unified. Then there's the farce at Flyweight where they have THREE champions. At some point, the boxing media has to call these clowns out. Their "championships" are totally meaningless IMO.

I strongly disagree. In my honest opinion the WBA is the most prestigious Title Organization in the World.

 

Haye would also beat Ali, Tyson, and Holmes on the same night right?

 

My favorite part of this is the fact Kessler is literally, the "WBA Super World Super Middleweight Champion".

Cmon somebody in that company has to know this is at least a little bit ****ed up.

 

The only way Kessler keeps his title throughout this tournament is if he becomes Super Champion.

Provided Kessler wins against Ward and Froch, he really does become the Super Champion of the WBA.

But this is just too pre-emptive.

 

They have been doing this for ages.

And yes, "Super Duper" champ is not at all out of the question.

 

Because it's the oldest? Do you actually like the regular champion/super champion/champion in recess titles? What makes you regard them the highest? I mean, to me they're the worst of a not great bunch.
