WBA HEAVYWEIGHT RANKINGS 1967-75

    Looking for month to month boxing ratings and dates for these years for about 108 listing dates, I'm sure I have about two thirds. People say why do you not use

    in your classic boxing research (were a fighter was ranked etc.) . Well i'll use

    info. I've even contacted them , Some one in the world seem would have to have them? before I get too far ahead here , I'll haveta make a GRID of what officially I do have, and the dates.

    in my opinion. 9/1/67 they officially Moved Joe Frazier from No.2 Contender to No. 9 citing his refusal to join their 8 man elimination tournament OKAY!

    Muhammad Ali who has actully had to win the

    Heavyweight Championships 4 times 1. Liston, 2. Terrell, 3. Foreman, 4. Spinks (and was stripped of it twice!)- Ali was not even ranked by

    vs Joe Frazier in the Battle of the Century! -And had to win a court case to be back in their World ratings again June 29, 1971 wherupon he was then ranked over # 1 contender George Foreman.

    never took Muhammad Ali's title away in the first place (not even during the 1968 tournament)

    , they have to be out there somewhere, i've actually gave Boxrec some listings lol.

    looks like from 1967-75 only 40 heavyweights made their top tens in that time, a nice round number.

    i know its not a popular belief but i class Ali as a four time champion purely because he won the WBA title 4 times

    Hey my friend, Jerry Quarry could have been the champion on April 27 1968 against Jimmy Ellis.
