We all know organisation rankings are largely nonsensical and choreographed with airs of corruption, but how can Trevor Bryan conceivably be ranked #1 contender with the WBA and current interim champion. His only fight of any note was against cruiserweight BJ Flores who also should be nowhere near the ranking or an interim belt. Joe Joyce and Hrgovic should be doing all that is possible to match up with him and propel themselves with the organisation imo. Can anyone point to me this ranking farce has happened or suggest it is justifiable?
It isn't justifiable. As to how it happened simply put Don King. He clearly still has some clout to be able to get Bryan's fight with Flores sanctioned as am interim title fight.

And Fres "i haven't fought for four years and beaten anyone with a pulse for ten" Oquendo is number 3. We Be Atrocious clearly having a ranking formula that isn't based on skill, ability or achievements.
They are the worst organization by far. Utterly corrupt, between entirely unfair rankings and the absurdity of multiple world title "belts".
The WBC and WBA might as well simply be called ..." The Al Haymon & Don King boxing confederacy" ... They are beyond corrupt and trying to shaft Matchroom fighters in anyway possible. No WBC shot for Whyte, no WBA shot for Miller. Suprised the havent stripped Joshua yet for not taking on Stiverne or Guillermo Jones.
