He does have a big punch but some of the finest china for a chin. :yep Overall boxing skills are sound as well.....................
I think these guys are fairly well matched, regardless of which guy fights which guy first. For example: Sergei vs. TOS could be pretty good. The 2 contrasting styles could be interesting. It could also be boring.....................who am I kidding just see TOS vs. Byrd or Sergei vs. Briggs for extreme examples of this senario playing out. Ruiz vs. Virchis could be a barnburner since neither guy has any real defense with Ruiz being the busier & Virchis being the more powerful. In fact it could be a quick KO for Virchis or Ruiz might outwork him. I've never seen Taras Bindenko fight but if he's any good I say throw in in against the Giant and at least we'll be rid of one Russian. Valuev does have a decent jab so I'd have to favor his chances here.
I think Virchis, Valuev or Ruiz could win. I don't see TOS avoiding the KO vs. any of them. He can outbox any of them but how long can it last? I voted for Sergei because he has an awkward style, decent power & decent jab.
This tournament will make the Rebirth of the Quiet Man. The Bearded Warrior is about to rise out of the ashes and reclaim his throne. This content is protected
This content is protected And the New 3 Time Heavyweight Champion of the world!!!!!!!!!! I will tell you why, there have only been few who have been able to beat this style, Roy Jones, David Tua, Evander Holyfield and James Toney, oh yeah Valuev had beat John as well, but if that fight were in America he wouldnt have got the Win it was close many James Toney included said that Ruiz won that fight. Now you have to be a legand or a big banger to get rid of Ruiz bottom line none of the heavyweights mentioned are either. I think Ruiz wins it why? becuase I dont want him to win it thats why, and that has been the pattern for five years already.
Good post. Ruiz easily has the most experience esp. in big fights and his only losses are to fast, skilled boxers or huge power punchers. I disagree that none of the mentioned fighters are really huge punchers though, since Virchis has that power even if he's slow, and TOS is pretty powerful himself because he times & lands his punches correctly.
TOS might MIGHT be able to do something, but that is if Ruiz falls asleep at the wheel, I really dont think we have any other logical choice IMO Ruiz knows how to make anybody and everybody pretty much fight his fight, unless you have the skills that Toney and Jones jr did.
So you felt compelled to point out my ignorance. :nut Who cares. All the fighters listed are have been mentioned and, as far as I know, no one is confirmed just yet. No matches are set yet & I'm just rying to stir up some ****.
Bidenko will win this competition. He is a powerful opponent, but he needs to give more heart. He brawls in his fights just enough to win. But he is a very powerful opponent. Look at his fight with Valuev: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KaigdKiO8Xc
