I hear a rumour that the Mundine V Taylour fight will be for the WBA International Middleweight title. Has anyone else seen this?
Nothin beats an IBF eliminator for the number 2 spot.:good Or better yet the prestigious WBF Australasian title.
Yeah i know, but in 20yrs time when "A current Affair" run a story about Mundine losing all his money because of his shady former manager. Mundine will have a 75yr old Tracey Grimshaw interview him at his mums place with all those secondary belts on show in the background claiming he was the best of all time. atsch
Yep im afraid it ain't much better in Europe either mate, last night i fell asleep watching Robert Steglitz win the WBC International S/Middle Weight title , Serious , i had to look on the net to find out the winner this morning , ( then felt ashamed for actually looking ) atsch
What is Taylors current WBA M/W ranking????? He must be outside the top ten, as the International title pertains to fighters ranked between 11 and 30 in the ratings list... ???
i like steglitz, was it boring josey? i thought i read it was a close points win to steglitz against a decent unbeaten fighter.
Well lets just say i wasn't concious by the 8th and neither should have that German/Polish kid Robert was fighting , maybe it warmed up in the 9th but up until then it really was a **** fight mate ..i hate to bag on guys who lace them up either pro or Am but it really was that **** .
Its just for the monetary factor then. Another sanctioning cost due to the fact Mundine is involved.... **** these governing pricks.. Cheers fot the response mate... Much obligued.
I read somewhere he was ranked so high by the WBA because he had recently held their Regular title @ 168lbs , when he "cough" moved down to fight @ Middle an automatic top ten ranking went with him , sort of grandfather rights situation , but like you say mate just more money for the ABC's :good
