It's the WBA, that alone should explain it...

I can see number 7 magically jumping 6 spots if the money is right to them.

I´ve often talked about the deterioration of the WBA hw. belt after they stripped it from Lennox Lewis. Their champions since then have not been very good (Ruiz,Valuev), lots of title fights ended with disputed decisions (Ruiz/Golota, 3rdRuiz/Holy, both Ruiz/Valuev fights), the same fighters kept getting shots at the belt (Valuev,Ruiz,Holyfield) and some really lousy fighters got shots at well (Owen Beck). It also didn´t help when Chagaev was inactive/sick.

I think David Haye can bring some credibility back to the belt though, but it seems the WBA is insistent on making him fight their former champions (Chagaev - which is not so bad really and Valuev - who I think has a rematch clause)

Kinda outdated. We know Chagaev is now #1 and Meehan is out. I guess they'll update the rankings once Valuev decides if he's going to fight Klitschko or take his shot at Haye and after the WBA gets enough buy-ins to continue the circle-jerk.

Chagaev already beat Meehan, so Chag will be #1 and Meehan will have dropped significantly.

there's no logic to these rankings. If Haye/Audrey gets made expect A-Farce to be top 5 in the next edition despite not having fought in that time.

Organisational rankings are utterly, utterly pointless.

We all know the only people that matter in this division are Audley Harrison, SNV and obviously Golota.

    But seriously.

The only thing right about this list is the champions.

Briggs has been very active so makes sense he is ranked up there especially considering he is 2 time champ.

Haye will wire 100,000 quid to the WBA bank account in Switzerland and then magically Audley will appear at spot #15
