No, that was for this fight. It was meant to be Taylor. He didn't want to go to Perth. Will never happen now.

Hey BTT answer my question why would a Sturm Mundine bout be in the US... American dont give a **** about either of them it would draw about 1.5% interest with fans and TV alike

Thats the trick of a double card mate.

Or the main card, if he beats E.G Espino first.

Of course it takes some courage...... but it is something that he is trained to do....

The courage required though is no greater than a Professional footballer.... and certainly much less than ... say ... a Fireman.... Policeman....etc ... who put their lives on the line every day.

Do you have any idea how much Sturm makes in Germany each time he fights?

No way are they gonna pay that in the US.

My understanding is that if it goes to a Purse Bid...... It will be between Mundine's management and Sturm's... and the US won't even come into it.

I think Mundine may have a chance of getting the fight (no purse) if they put it together like this

    Sturm VS Mundine in Sydney.

    1. Sturm takes 100% of gate after 1/2 cost
    2. Sturm takes 100% of O/S PPV
    3. Mundine takes sponsors and Aussie PPV and 1/2 cost

Mundine will have 2 take a pay cut however based on 15,000 people at the gate and world wide 150,000 PPV and 500 pubs it could make $3 to $4m profit.

Sturm would see Mundine as very beatable and would have seen Sacia and Kess come here and beat Mundine on points

    Any chance?

This is exactly what I'm talking about, these stupid hypotheticals are not putting things into perspective. :-(
Ya think! Let's just wait and see rather than talk bull****. :nono
Maybe, maybe not. I'm not dreaming about anything, Geale to me looks like a good prospect, that's all. I'm not for one minute thinking that he is the best thing since sliced bread.
It's you and people like you who insist that Mundine is something special and will take on the world.

And creating threads every few days with these bull**** matchs doesn't help your credibility. :deal

Mundine can take on the best at MW.....not saying he will win but he will look good while being beaten.

However he will pick his fights as he knows that he is only in the best 5 in the world....but lets face facts that is f..... great for Mundine.

Sturm already makes over 1 million Euro's....every time he fights before his home crowd... that's close to $AU 2 million....

Why would he consider leaving Germany?

Our ****ed dollar means that Mundine can't hope to compete successfully in a Purse Bid...

So Mundine has got to offer him $3,000,000 2 get 2 Sydney.

Do you think the people will go to the fight and spend big on PPV if Mundine gets Sturm in Sydney?

I still don't think it would be enough to lure Sturm from his home ground advantage...

Mundine is still well known in Germany because of Ottke...and who knows how much Sturm's people could make if they promote it well....

But it could come down to a "Risk V Reward" situation.

1/2 mill Euros.... I mill Aussie dollars....

Sturm is in the Box seat:good

"As far as i see it, if Choc can make weight, he beats Sturm"

So he's number 1 at 160 and nobody knows if he can make weight or not? LOL

    That's a tough one....

And I am speaking General Public here...

Only if they think that Mundine is likely to be beaten

But even then.....I sense that Mundine has lost the hatred of Joe Public...They no longer care all that much what he does....They are simply over his Bull****...

And I'm thinking that the World's Economic probs may have a far greater impact than we realise as people look to other priorities

    Short answer.... I don't know
