They'll be figuring out which way they can get the most in sanctioning fees from the situation. It's all they care about.

The WBA title is worthless, especially if Valuev fights and loses to Vitali yet neither Klitschko holds it.

IMHO the other way round makes sense: The finnish officials suspended Chagaev, not Valuev, who for the third time trained hard to face Chagaev. For me Valuev ist the WBA champ.

But Sauerland (Valuev's promoter) won the purse bid and staged the fight in Finland, instead of Germany where they normally fight out of. I think they knew very well they could get out of the fight by staging it there. Also I thought the Finnish boxing commission gave Valuev the option to go ahead, but Valuev declined. Then he wouldn't agree to a last minute change to fight Meehan (#1 contender). Who knows if this will be confirmed or not, but I believe this is what happened. I'd like to know the truth.

Fact is, Chagaev WAS healthy enough to fight and not pose a serious health risk. Valuev didn't fight Chagaev, and he didn't answer the call to fight Klitschko when Haye dropped out. Chagaev stepped up and took the bout.

Exactly, Valuev's camp staged the whole thing, declined to take a medical procedure to ensure Valuev's health after the fight, which would allow the fight to go through, then chickened out of Meehan as a substitute. No way they should let Valuev keep the belt.

Thing is, they have Don King as partner and WBA is his backyard, he calls the shots there.

Wlad should go to the same Court of Sports that just helped Vitali postpone his bout with Maskaev and petition them to recognize his right to fight for the WBA belt, which he acquired for beating Chagaev, then use it to get Valuev in the ring with one of the K. brothers and soon after dump the useless title back to DK.

This makes no sense at all. Chagaev already beat Valuev & Ruiz, the "other" WBA champ & the top contender.

Wlad beat Chagaev so he has their belt whether they like it or not :D

You're such a myopic poster it's ridiculous. You try to make any situation that fits your boy best and sell it as gospel.

It's only a matter of time before Boytsov cleans up the muddled cluster**** of mediocrity which is the WBA title situation. :yep
