Certainly seems that way doesn't it. When I get time I'll find the exact time in that recent vid he did when MJP asks him (briefly) about the contract sent to his team.

Reticent doesn't even begin to cover his reaction to what was easily the most important question of the interview. I get that MJP is a chick and didn't want to pressure Wilder over what is an awkward question but she really should have asked more on that one.

Finally the ducking is over. Povetkin earned his shot more than anyone else and will get the belts to Russia.

Lol. Povetkin is getting slaughtered like an animal. What are you going to say, after Joshua literally stomps and squashes Povetkin as if he was a little rodent? What excuses next?

Be careful what you wish for, because Povetkin may very well leave with permanent life damage with years being decreased from his life after he steps into the ring against a totally different creature like Anthony Joshua.

Wilder is pathetic. Talks started in April! APRIL.....

Anyone who think it's Eddie and AJ who are ducking need to open their eyes. The Parker-Whyte fight proves that Wilder is ducking. That fight was signed in 48 hours. Yes there's a few more rights and TV issues to deal with when it comes to Joshua-Wilder, but please...even the wilder fans can't be telling me that it takes 3 months longer to sign a contract for this fight than Whyte-Parker. Those negotiations take a month MAXIMUM. Wilder is using his mouth to protect himself and try and avoid this fight, without getting hated by the public. Unacceptable.

Anyways, Eddie has a brain unlike that other team in america. Thankfully he can get this one agreed within 24 hours (Povetkin that is), and show that when BOTH teams work well together, things happen. It is clear only one side want to play ball and that is Eddie and AJ. You know it's bad when even the dirty russians can negotiate better than Deonkey and his team.

    Didn't take long.

Clearly the WBA and mandatory are alien terms to yourself.

Don’t blame the WBA for saying enough’s enough. The way the Wilder camp is behaving, this charade would drag on for another year and AJ ain’t getting younger. We’re almost three months since AJ’s titles were on the line and still the next defence isn’t sorted.

I can’t see the Wilder fight ever happening unless the WBC order it (not happening, god forbid their paper champ be forced into a real fight) or Wilder drops his title (got to fight a live body first).

AJ should just concentrate on defending his titles and racking up his wins and hopefully, eventually, the pressure will grow on Wilder until he has no real choice but to fight or face utter ridicule.

I would like to know why wilder hasn't signed the contract, hearn has said this new contract is a better offer than the original 12 million, its got to me north of 15 million at this point that's one hell of a pay day i don't understand why wilder isn't signing. Hearn also isn't pushing much for him to sign either, he should be all over every media channel calling for wilder to sign the fight.

Deontay didn't sign the contract, because it was made out of wet toilet paper and fell apart in his hands. Eddie was stringing the bomb squad along, while dealing with those Russians behind their backs. Seriously if I see anyone walking around with a Anthony Joshua bodybuilder T shirt, I will beat them down with my fists, lol!

Needed to be completed in block capital letters using black ink and Wilder only had a blue crayon, it’s Eddies fault though, he should have sent a pen if he wants it signing!

It will be hilarious if Povetkin starches Joshua and Wilder has to fight him anyway.

Povetkin has not looked the same since he's been clean. This is a guy who admitted to using PED's but got off with a loop hole that the peds were not banned at the time. People like to throw the term around that he was cleared, this may be true on technicality but its misleading, he WAS taking peds, They just hadn't been added to the banned list yet,
