There are gigantic purses for the AJ v Wilder fight but even more gigantic excuses from both parties.

Simply there is no excuse for this fight not being made including venue or money.

Couple of bankers in my book

Think both camps want one more fight apart aj vs povetkin wilder vs brezeale by looks of it. Both seem full excuses not to fight. Realistic both have mentioned a rematch clause so why not uk fight 50 50 rematch in USA winner of first fight gets 70 30. Everyone makes insane amounts of money even at 30 percent

Wilder said he has a year to fight Brezeale and wants AJ now...said he only needs a 6 week camp..

Its AJs side who have stalled and kept moving goalposts

    No fanboy here of both.

If Joshua and Hearn don't give their ALL, to make this fight happen then they're ducking Wilder clearly and that'll make Joshua a coward.

I expect Joshua to give up the WBA belt to make the Wilder fight happen. The whole world would respect that decision and still consider Joshua to be the WBA champion anyway until he losses his other belts.

Wilder agreed to have the first fight in Britain, Wilder also agreed to take the lesser purse, what else does team Wilder need to do to make the fight happen?, Sign a contract that state's Wilder can't use his right hand?

If Joshua fights Povetkin, or anybody else, he'll never be considered as a honorable champion by me.

The writing was on the wall when povetkin was added to the Joshua/Parker Card. It didn't take a genius to work out who Joshua was fighting next...

Exactly - the same old Matchroom Sky Box Office formula again and again (eg Dullian Shyte repeated)

    ^^^^^ This.

I rewatched Wilder Ortiz last night, he was completely out of it the round after he was very nearly dropped. Like literally glazed eyes, feeling the ropes with his arms stretched behind him for the entire 3 minutes. Unlike Ortiz, AJ would have been over that like a tramp on chips.

Then you are an idiot! AJ wants to be UNDISPUTED if he gives up a belt he can't be can he! AJ beat the **** out of Breazeale in his 17th fight, now Wilder fights him! AJ defends against the world number 3. Wilder has never made more than $ 1,200,000, his latest offer was £15,000,000 and he has had it on his table for a week!

100% i am willing to bet if Joshua beats Povetkin, his next fight will be Whyte-Joshua II. The signs are already their, Hearn has said Joshua will fight in September.

Two months before Whyte is fighting on Sky Box Office aswell. Join the dots up. We ain't getting Wilder v Joshua till Wilder shows signs of right hand deterioration.

The greedy *******s pulling the strings don't want the wilder fight yet cuz they want to squeeze every last pound out of it that they can

Either a huge duck or pure greed, either way I don't like either

Matchroom and Sky media will be going into overdrive shortly blaming Wilder and moving on to 'HUGE' fights against Povetkin and Whyte.

The cohort of PPV mugs fall for it time and again not even aware they are watching Tranmere Rovers instead of Real Madrid
