    We saw this coming.
Joshi's 2nd best fight if it happens.

edit: I can imagine Pov getting the fight and upsetting the applecard would be Wilder's worst nightmare coming true.

Disgusting / gruesome mismatch in favor of Joshua in my opinion! If it isn't, then it'd expose Joshua as a fraud and overrated and as one of the worst heavyweight champs (relative to the hype he has been receiving).

The WBA can take a long walk off a short plank.

They aren't calling the shots in relation to anything.

Povetkin won't get a look in.

    so we might have

    AJ vs Povetkin
    Whyte vs Pulev

both prob on the same card / event in the UK

    so what Wilder will do?

    Martin, Breazeale, Kownacki

    fighting Parker in the US?

or Miller if he gets past Duhaupas this month

Wilder vs Miller would be a good match though

    My wish

    AJ vs Povetkin
    Whyte vs Pulev
    Wilder vs Miller/Parker

i could live with that although i would like to see AJ vs Wilder and Ortiz vs Parker next

Whyte will lose vs Pulev if Pulev has something left btw

So you'd think Joshi would drop his WBA belt that easily?

Ryabinskiy: Today Alexandr Povetkin has been confirmed as the WBA mandatory challenger to face Anthony Joshua! The fight is compulsory, the deadline is 150 days to set up the fight, starting today. Joshua has NO right to fight anyone except Sasha! 30 days for negotiations!

If Povetkin was even just two inches taller I’d make him favourite here. He has every chance of smashing Juicesha to pieces but it will be tough ask with the physical disadvantages.

To be honest, I don't think AJ hits as hard as Pricey, and he probably will play it safe here and keep his hands at home more than usual, Povetkin can win this.

So basically Manuel Charr is getting snubbed? WTF! He is the rightful WBA champion, he has the right to challenge AJ, why Povetkin?
