WBA sanction HW Title fight between Joshua and Klitschko for Spring 2017.

The IBF hasn't sanctioned it, though. And Joshua is the IBF champ. Hearn can retweet whatever he likes. The IBF already stated they were going to announce Joshua's mandatory in November.

Until the IBF approves, it's not on. Unless Joshua wants to vacate the IBF, in which case Wlad won't fight him.

The fight's not a go, certainly not in the spring.

 

The WBA system is a mess that I'm not going to try and make sense of, but if it leads to this fight, I'm happy.

 

Wladimir certainly shouldn't retain a high ranking up to Spring 2017, since he hasn't won a fight since Spring 2015 !

The WBA rankings are an absolute joke anyway. I half expect to see my own name there among other guys you've never heard of. Shannon Briggs in number 5 !
