True, WBA elevated Wilder and he continues to be caressed, but in this case it's not bad, if the fight with Dubois fails, WBA must appoint another fighter or Usyk loses the title. I even hope this will be the fight we're going to see, it's a challenge for both of them.

 

Its all sneaky matchmaking, Helenius won 2times with Kownacki for a WBA Gold so after Wilder took Helenius out he had to go high in WBA rankings

 

That's actually good news. That's a fascinating match-up, and Usyk needs to fight someone ASAP. With them needing a couple months training camps, there won't be any good fights until fall/winter at this rate.

 

It's clear they planned this but it's an exciting fight regardless

 

It's one of the better match ups. Usyks not getting any favours. Joshua twice, then Wilder and hopefully Fury.

 

Sad about Hrgovic, eh? Just rephrased the thread, so make it not look like another one in the Hrgovic series. Again: WBA wants her title defence in order not to strip Usyk from it. If he fails to do, he can go with the next in line which is Hrgovic, but this is another title.

 

Wilder is ranked higher in the WBC WBA IBF and Ring rankings than Joshua as well as being ranked higher than Hrgovic in every other body except from the IBF as well as also being ranked higher than Zhang in every other body except the WBO .
