Would love to see Jermell back in the ring. Not that I'm a big Jermell fan or anything but he's a fun watch and it just feels bizarre for an undisputed champion to go MIA the way that he has. And him vs Barou sounds promised to be a barnburner.
Crawford being stripped immediately for taking a title fight at a higher weight class is a little surprising. When Kell Brook, who was IBF champion at 147, fought GGG at 160, he got to go back down to 147 after the GGG fight and defend against Spence. Maybe it’s just boxing politics but I wouldn’t be surprised if this signals that the Canelo fight is Crawford’s final fight
