Floyd already has the WBA and WBC championships at 147 and 154 at the age of 38. Beating Pacquiao would also add the WBO and certainly a 2nd time awarding of the lineal 147 title. Mayweather would then hold 5 of the 8 major titles at 147 and 154 pounds at 38 years of age.

    Discuss?

I think it's a pretty good accomplishment, certainly something to note about his overall skill and longevity.

not better than winning a 5th lineal championship and being the only fighter to do so.............also taking the 0 of a fighter............

the bottom line is pac will get more credit by beating mayweather than if mayweather was to beat pac

after the pac fight he needs to be forced to defend it (154 belt) or strip him.

Yeah dude...we'll never see this again..no Lie!

I mean when do we think the next time somebody is going to be lineal champ in 2 weight classe at the same time?? Let alone unfied champ in both divisions and preety much undisputed in one weight class.

    S**t anit happening again!

It just proves how meaningless these paper blets are.

The fact that he's still allowed to have those two title belts at 154 without fighting at that weight for more than a year and doesnt seem to be fighting there anytime soon if ever again its a disgrace, any other fighter would already be stripped of those titles by the alphabet crooks. Anyone who thinks this is some great achievement is either a Floyd groupie or a dumnbass that doesnt know anything about the history of the sport.

How many lineal title has Floyd held?

I see he has held four ring titles not sure how many times he had been considered lineal.

Very valid point. This accomplishment is without a doubt only possible due to the Alphabet system as we call it. (And I agree not being forced to defend the belts is ????)Part of the reason why I ask the question what other people think.
