This was being talked about last convention they had.

Article over at the scene, 8 man tournament feat boxers from 8 different countries. Rabchenkos name is there saying he is scheduled to face Luciano Cuello in the 1st rd (quarter final) with the finals early 2016...

Mundines name is not there so what does this mean for the Silver title thing, does he keep it or stripped...

I've never been the biggest Mundine fan, not a hater, more a cynic however Im hoping he gets the K9 shot, even tho been reading Charlo I think it is may be in line also.....

If no WBC options n he dosnt get K9, where does he go from here?
Wait till after Mayweather visit or other, maybee Ishe Smith or other???????

Good questions, the Mundine camp has been silent last week or 2, hopefully that means they are negotiating something big, because when there's nothing on the agenda usually they are talking loud in the media trying to drum something up.

Ishe Smith is a Mayweather fighter isn't he? I think he will get stripped of his Silver title if he doesn't rematch Rabchenko(which he won't IMO).

I dont see how Mundine could be stripped if Rabchenko is in this tournament and has scheduled fights, and I couldnt see him rematching Mundine in between tournament fights.... Tournament kinda makes the Silver belt irreverent.

I have similar thoughts regarding Mundine camp being silent.... Sure I read somewhere they offered K9 500k n it was reported here he may be angling for Trout.... The only other relevant fight I see is Lara and I dont see that happening in the USA n I'd imagine it'd take alot of $ to get Lara out here....

Those 3 names asside I dont see any other meaningful fight unless its some title eliminator , n my opinion is he will never get Floyd unless Mundine gets Alvarez and I dont see that happening either.....

Only names I see are, K9, Lara (unlikely), Trout or Smith.....
I dont see him going WBO route either so I'd also rule out Andrade and Martirosyan and as much as I found Mundine to be impressive in Rabchenko bout I see him having only 3 tough fights left in him max. So basically I am very interested as too his next move. Does he go sideways (with more stay busy fights which I believe limites his chances at the big names he keeps mentioning), move onto challenging someone ranked higher in alphabet rankings (even tho Mundine is ranked quite highly in most) , wait it out or suprise????
