You and Firtha would've been a good one. How's the weight holding? Still got it down in the 230's? I was happy to see you come down so much.

PS: Anybody know if Drummond ever got paid for his "effort" with Solis? :-(

Weight is still low. Walk around at about 239 and been doing lots of core training. I feel great and we have some very good sparring partners for this upcoming fight so I feel on and ready.
Yes, styles wise, me and Firtha would have been a very good fight. Maybe next time, depending on how he does with Fury.

Why not just target Fury instead? He's young, rated, and can actually punch back. Oh that's right, you just call out old shot has beens and never weres like Tua, McBride, Williams, Meehan....and throw in an arm wrestler here and there.

Interestingly the underlined sentence applies to both welliver and solis.

GOOD MAN. Now, then, my brother. I've never asked you for anything...mostly because I don't know you and have never talked to you but that's beside the point, more importantly is that I never asked...but...could you please help my man Gabe Brown to come down to that weight? He needs you...thinks his mojo resides in the omentum and some other such nonsense but almost everyone knows your mojo cannot be contained in solid matter.

F'n Tua was only the #2 and #3 WBO ranked HW when Chauncy was calling him out...as his interim WBO APAC champ. Arreola got called out on OTR and he is right there. Meehan is ranked something like #4 or 5 by the WBA.

Tyson Fury is too raw for Welliver. The way he was so out of shape and tired against Chisora is a recipe for disaster against Welliver. He'd be outworked and exposed much earlier than he'd like. If he was going to try and beat Welliver, he might as well go straight at Wladimir. Either way his 0 would go.

Arreola didn't get called out, he got begged to fight for free on a internet talk show. Lame!

Well, Chauncy is not the best at call outs. His nature is much more respectful than most HW's who run their mouths. But there may be hope for him. Wladimir was at 1 time the same way. But then Haye pissed him off and he started swearing every other word. I could listen to him saying Haye Bitched Out all day long.

He didn't ask the guy to fight for free though. Chris has a big fan base in California and a bigtime promoter in Goosen. Chauncy asked him to fight him. Chris did not get bent out of shape until Chauncy told him he was higher ranked than him in the WBO. Any fight between them and Chauncy would have been the guy damn near fighting for free. Chris was offered a Top 10 HW, he was offered a guy who between the 2 have lost almost 100 pounds. Goosen knew better than to get him whacked in front of his home crowd in Cali though. If Chris is gonna get whacked it will be bt Wlad.

The bottom line is this....Chauncy is deemed way too much of a threat by all of the top camps so they avoid him. If he was an easy beat, they would be flocking to him like haye and Valuev and all the others were flocking to JD Chapman. He is 1 of the best positioned HW's in the world in the rankings and still none of these top camps want to try and take his rankings. He has belts and belts and more belts....but no takers.

Eventually, one of these camps will slip up though and make their big mistake by accepting a Welliver fight. And when they do.....they are going the F down! :bbb

That's the problem with the HW division. The top 20-30 guys refuse to fight the Wellivers and the Rodriguez's of the division, knowing they'll get blown out and lose their shot at K2. Welliver was decent when he was 300lbs, and then people would fight him, but now that he's getting in shape, he's beocming a slick fighter, and with his chin and his size, he can outpoint the Potvetkins and Fury's of the division, probably even KO Fury.

Rodriguez has been trying in vain since his 22-23rd fight to get a top 50 opponent, Rahman, Ruiz, Harrison, Ibragimov, Banks.....etc, etc, etc, and NONE of these guys will fight him. So what's he got but the Polley's and Calloways and Maddalones of the division. Hell, journeyman Jason Gavern won't even fight him, and he's got a solid chin and excellent mobility.

I bet Arreola could get Gavern in the ring, and I bet Haye could as well. Problem is, these HW's like el NINO and Welli are unknown by the fans, but the contenders know damn well who they are, as do their mgrs, so that's why guys like Welli, Rodriguez and Wach can't get fights with guys at the top of division, but guys like Firtha and Maddalone can.:huh

Go get em Chauncey. Sadly for you, the Williams', McBrides, and McCalls of the division got more heart than the Fury's, Potvetkins, and Arreolas of the division.

But hell, can you blame them. If I were them, I wouldn't fight you either. Your handspeed and footwork are too deceptive, and your power could put me away if I was to stop for a moment and admire my work like Fury does in every fight.

I could really see you KTFO Fury with 1 well placed L hook just when he's on his way outside admiring a 4 peice to your iron chin and tougher than it looks, body.

No offense CW, but I'm a K2 fan, and I'd be pulling for the brothers in your fight with them, but if Potvetkin were to ever man up and give you a shot at his WBA title, you'd have one extra fan out here in the midwest cheering your every jab.

I gotta feeling the Calloway fight is going to end swifty, and I'm hoping Spongebob gives you a rematch soon so you can get the title shot YOU deserve.
