    Nice posts ChiTown.

Look at how much Chauncy is hustling. He chats with fans, gets in on radio online and over the air in Washington, he has been to China now 3 times and will soon be there for his 2nd fight next month. He's had to fly back and forth from NZ and USA and then China and USA to get fights. He's had to turn the charm on in China to get a promoter behind him with good hustle. He was just up in Russia preparing Povetkin for the title shot. Plus, doing all that, he is down 50 pounds and keeping it off traing with Joe Hipp and his personal fitness trainer.

His work load would kill most men....just the travel, training and hustling. Then he fights and spars the HW's of the world.

Imagine what the guy could do if he had a big USA promoter behind him instead of having to bust down doors all the time. Nobody hears from Areola...he doesn't even know who is ranked, hasn't even watched any tape on any contenders. Nobody hears from or even sees these other HW's. Yet here is Chauncy Welliver, on the radio every week he can, on the net, over in China at the Panda Zoo's, off at the WBC and WBo conventions.

This China thing is going to turn it around. They love him there man. And already Lawerence Tauasa and Rob Calloway are a couple nice fights to get going with. Lawerence had a majority draw with a prime Sosnowki for the WBF HW Title. He was good enough to get featured on USA TV in the CW Contender Series. In his previous fight he was beating former WBC title challenger Ohkello Peter before a questionable stoppage. And Rob Calloway has had the ability to beat Terry Smith. Terry had a nice am backround and was a pretty built record then...the guy had skills. And Calloway gave a mountain of a man in Jameel McCline a good run on FNF. He beat Mirovic for the WBF Title. They are both credible HW tests. No joker beats those guys.

If Chauncy continues to deliver in China, the backing necessary will finally get paired with the desire necessary to earn a mandatory spot to a Klitschko. Eventually, I'd like to see a mega rematch. I think the Chinese would go crazy to have Chauncy face the Olympic Champion. They love Olympic sports and really respect that accomplishment. And Chauncy being in top shape without bogus judges will be Solis undoing. Even last time at 283, Chauncy schooled him for 3 rounds before tiring and was right there, just a step too slow the whole way until the bogus stoppage. That was just wrong to do to a guy who has never flet the canvas a single time....and who still hasn't!

The next year is going to be something to keep a good eye on. Chauncy is close, all he needs is that final piece to be there to be able to pay these other HW's enough to not be so scared of losing.

Maybe you can get a rich Chinese investor to back you with a decent sized purse, lure some contenders to fight.

If not Chinese then certainly a Japanese investor with their penchant for all things combat based, it shouldn't be too hard.

    Best of Luck

It looks like the Chinese are ready to take this thing al the way. The Japanese are a little leary after they took Okhello Peter to the title and he failed, so they seem to stick with the little guys. I'd love to fight in Japan though, but China seems to be where it's at.

Haha. No bro. Happily engaged here in the States. Plus, to be honest, we go real close to fight time because when me and team went this past December everybody got sick and had to go to hospital so I try not to be there too long and catch some food poisoning. Also, they have us pretty tied up with media conferences and things of that nature. Don't even really see any girls aside from our interpreters. I think the government keeps women away on purpose to not distract most fo the fighters too. lol

David “Nino” Rodriguez has been replaced with Hector Camacho, Jr. on the Oct. 15 “Battle at the Ballpark” card at Cohen Stadium in El Paso. After the WBC refused to sanction Rodriguez,35-0, 33 KOs, in a Fecombox heavyweight title defense against Byron “The Bear” Polley (24-12, 11 KOs), who’d lost four of his last five bouts, all by knockout, a replacement opponent could not be agreed upon, forcing promoter Zeferino Entertainment to move in a different direction. The main event will now be Hector Camacho, Jr., 53-4-1, 28 KOs, who will most likely face Juarez veteran Saul Duran, 38-18-2, 31 KOs.

Sucks for Daverod. They approved him for Chauncy's WBC title. I must say though....at 1st I thought you meant that Camacho Jr. was going to face Polley. It was half way believable. Bwahahahaha

Rob Calloway is on. Welliver has no such problems. :happy

What do you think of body punching Chauncy? Ever think of really investing in and becoming proficient in it, which would be a rare occurrence up at heavy.

I've really been working on my body punching to tire out the heavies, because as you say, it's rare to have a heavy go low. With my high work rate I feel it'll help heeps in there.

I rate Chauncy 1 of the best body punchers in the HW division today. When he was up here in Detroit, he was hitting Brad Gregory so hard in the mid section that he was lifting him up off his feet. It looked like Rocky vs Clubber Lang man. After the fight, I'm hanging with Chauncy and Brad and Gregory's lips would not stop quivering, his body was twitching. He then told me that he had never been hit as hard in his career as Welliver hit him. He was also surprised that Chauncy jumped him from the opening bell and swarmed him every single second of their fight. After that, Derrick Jefferson walks in the after party and tells Chauncy, damn man you look like you are ready for a Klitschko.

It is hard to get to a body of a Klit but if anybody on earth can crash into them repeatedly and get the job done it is Chauncy Welliver. Most of the HW's will get KTFO trying to swarm K2. But Welliver has the chin and the cardio to get past their reach and apply pressure. Of the 2, I'd rather see him in with Wlad. I believe he has the ability to stress Wlad out and get him to start hyperventilating. Wlad is only appearing to be in great shape because he can calmly pace his way through his recent fights. But if he is pressed and stressed, the guy will fade like a MF'r like he has every single time he has been stressed in his entire career.

Chauncy has 1 of the best skill packages out there today to make this happen. Down Goes Klitschko! Down Goes Klitschko! Down Goes Klitschko! And then, let the talk of being drugged start again. LOL He'd get drugged alright...around the ring like a rag doll. After Chauncy slammed him in the opening round he would know it is on. You f'n hold you are getting picked up and slammed. Welliver will not drop to his knees and try to get close to his wiener like Haye. He will pick him up and slam him twice as hard as Chambers did.

Both guys are in China. I think the fight is starting about 6 AM Monday EST. I changed my avatar to 1 of the pics that Calloway uploaded to FB. So, hopefully by about noon tomorrow, we will find out who won The China Challenge!

Gotta add the King of The Midwest to the beat down video. Calloway, you are next!
