Pfff... It's ridiculous. But at least showed up what turds are both Ruiz and Wilder in their fear of losing. The other positive, if it's not for worse, is the rule change WBC will make.

Ruiz surely outpriced himself against Fury. The guy turned out to be a snot.

    Ruiz doesn't want the fight.

They should order Wilder vs Makhmudov now.

But in November they will be order Wilder vs Joshua.

Everyone knows that Wilder is waiting for Joshua plus he's not going to fight Fury again. They may as well drop him and move someone else into that spot so that Ruiz has proper incentive to get into the ring.

    FOR GODS SAKE

I was hoping for the announcement of their new WBC crude oil glazed belt of champions for Fury Vs Nganou.

Sorry folks. Boxing is dead and it goes out with a whimper after Wilder chins AJ and Fury slaps Usyk.

Any eliminator should include Makhmudov so they should order him vs Ruiz and the winner to fight the Femi Wilder winner. Ruiz doesn't want any part of it of course as he's full of bs.

Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua will be announced by November.

And the WBC will announce that Wilder and Joshua in January will be the final eliminator, with the winner to face Tyson Fury. (Because you don't have to order a negotiaton for a final eliminator if one is already signed, right.)

If Tyson Fury retires between now and January (which is always a possibility), the WBC will announce that Wilder and Joshua will fight for the vacant WBC title.

Nobody thought Wilder and Joshua were going to split $100 million and the WBC wasn't going to get their 3% cut from each, right? (Nothing like starting the new year pocketing $3 million in sanctioning fees.)

    ;)

Im fine with that scenario. Wilder ko's AJ and we have him vs Usyk for undisputed.
Fury can suck a lemmon in retirement.

Yeah Ruiz is one of the worst duckers in the division but he gets a pass because nobody really cares about him.

B level fighter who thinks he's an A.

seems like very few of these ordered eliminators come to fruition the past decade.

I wonder if Ruiz will follow the Stiverne blueprint and show up at 300 pounds for a mandated title shot in a few years with no meaningful fights before then.

I bet they’ll make AJ vs. Wilder the eliminator fight if it gets done. This will delay the undisputed fight even further, especially if AJ somehow wins.

Honestly, I don't see this as being negative. Hell if anything, they should have done this months ago when it was very apparent somebody involved didn't wanna do it. Whether it was Wilder or Ruiz or someone in their teams, I don't know, and it doesn't really matter. If the guys involved wanted it, we would have already had it. Hopefully whatever eliminator gets ordered next can be done, or if not they don't drag ass calling it off like they did this.

Lol More WPBC bull****. Notice it never went to purse bids... (that would risk a fighter being dropped from the rankings)

    Remember this:
    Eliminator 1
    Ruiz Jr. #5 (PBC)
    Ortiz #9 (PBC)

    Eliminator 2
Wilder #1 (PBC) - coming off two stoppage losses.
Helenius #10 (PBC) - Wilder's friend and sparring partner.

    Here are the receipts:
Sulaiman distancing himself from including Joyce #2 and Parker #3 in May 2022
