WBC Belt Matthysse to fight Morales now

I believe the Maidana fight was Morales's last great performance. Erik could take a big beating in this fight, hopefully that won't happen though.

I think Matthysse will win, probably by stoppage but let's hope he doesn't give Morales a bad beating

 

I think Matthysse will win, probably by knockout or TKO, but if it it goes to a decision, the criminal judges will cheat him once again, just like they cheated him when he beat Judah and Alexander!

Better then Barrios i suppose. Im glad Matthyse is getting another shot, he should still be undefeated. Khan-Matthyse in December is a great fight! Matthyse TKO's Morales in 8.

Khan v Matthysse will never happen.

They'll use the excuse of "he's just a poor Maidana" knowing fine well Matthysse hit's with the same pop as Maidana, but is a better Boxer

 

so if Morales wins this won, is he considered a credible opponent for Khan?

 

I think Khan will be willing to fight Matthyse, he will have the WBC belt, so another unification is worth the risk IMO.

 

Really happy for Mathysse. He needed a break after those 2 imo bad decisions. Looking forward to see what Morales does this time.........

 

Vamos Erik! If he wins this it will make him a true 4 weight champ in my eyes. He would have clearly beat Maidana with two good eyes over 12 rds imo, but Matthysse is probably a bit better.

1. Khan
2. Bradley
3. Mattysse
4. Kotelnik
5. Judah
6. Alexander

Or something like that.......

 

But after being outboxed by Maidana for part's of their fight (with Maidana not knowing for being able to Box as he's a brawler), will be they willing to take on somebody who if he hurt Khan, could possibly finish him where Maidana couldn't?

Personally i think no, but if Khan did take on Matthysse i'd take my hat off to him

 

Matthyse couldn't stop Judah, he isn't going to stop Khan imo.

 

Great turn of events. This helps set up loads of interesting fights at 140 and a better action version of the failed khan-maidana-bradley-alexander tournament. With Maidana, Matthyse, Guerrero and Khan you are guaranteed good fights in any combination.

 

I am glad for Matthysse, this poor man got robbed twice,
He still undefeated in my Boxrec, the only thing Morales is ancient for his weight class and i dont think his gas tank will last for 12 miles
