well that's good. I honestly don't see what all the fuss is about over Smith. also, the Brits have a very poor track record against Canelo. Rocky Fielding and Liam Neeson come to mind....Khan too I believe. some very weak performances....downright shameful and even cowardly in the case of Fielding. I will give the Brits credit for a solid crop of Heavyweights over the last 6 or 7 years, but they have been grossly overrating their middleweights and light heavies since the retirement of Joe Calzaghe. Froch was decent, but even he was grossly overrated. and then we had to sit there and get fed this tripe about George Groves and Martin Murray and the whole lot of them. You are thinking Smith is another Fielding, that's what everyone seems to think, you seem to be forgetting that Smith is levels above Fielding, he KO'd him in 1 round in a one sided fight, Canelo took 3 rounds and Fielding was landing punches
Although Canelo is the clear favourite people would be wise not to sleep on Callum Smith. If he is able to knock Canelo out to avenge his brother it would be an incredible achievement for him. I suspect that would be what he is looking to do.
