He also said that if they can't agree it will go to purse bids with the champion getting 6t0% and the challenger getting 40% Can someone explain to me who is the champion and challenger in this instance....I'm guessing Chavez is going to be the champion which sucks. As Sergio didn't lose the belt ....not saying that I think sergio should get the 60% but he should not be considered the challenger....after all he has done ALOT more than JCC Jr. Boxing atsch
This is stupid. I cant believe they wont make the fight. Think is Sergio was always good to the WBC. Very loyal to them then they go and strip him of his title. I think 50-50 sounds fair here but we all know that is not how boxing works. Specially with that scum Arum. The sad thing is that I think Jr. has a decent shot at Martinez if he uses his size and stamina. Martinez tends to gas in the middle rounds. He normally takes rounds 6-7 off and that is where Jr. could punish him. It would be a young 180 pounder fighting an older smaller fighter. I of course would bet on Martinez but a Jr. victory would not really surprise me.
Daniel geale will easily beat Chavez... And it would be a awesome fight with Martinez... Although his next fight seems to be with jermain Taylor
