    Who cares, its a big fight between to Mexicans on a Mexican holiday from an organisation run by Mexicans. It'a just a trophy belt not a world championship. Get over it. Viva Mexico!

    Why dont they just make this for their FECOM or FECAR title.

    Or make it a title eliminator for the recently vacated WBC SMW title, forcing Jack to make another defense or leapfrogging one of the Mexican cashcows into a beatdown by Smith.

    huh??? I am having trouble understanding why you pay the sanctioning fees to first acquire and then defend the title from a sanctioning body that you refuse to be...what did you call it "directed" by? I mean this guy did know that GGG was the mandatory before he fought for the belt, and he still paid the sanctioning fees to WBC. If he doesn't fight for titles or if they are unimportant or if he won't be dictated to be that sanctioning body the why pay the fees? He could have just fought Cotto at the idiotic catch weight without the title and would not need to worry about being "directed" had been a little richer and still fry his "much bigger fish"

    It was the deadline given to negotiate the fight that Canelo wasn't having.

    He dropped the belt and eliminated that obstacle. Sent GGG 3 offers. None of which GGG has accepted.

    Also paid step aside money lol and whilst I don't like how Wilder gets a free ride Canelos problem and in my view is why he's copped it is because they kept saying GGGs next which we all know to be BS

    What's stupid is Cinco de Mayo is mostly an American party holiday. Real independence day is September something. I bet they won't have one for that day.
