WBC creates new championship belt for 'catch weights'.

So what happen when a fighter wins the belt? Does he have to defend at the same weight he won it? Everyone can't make the same catchweight. Crooks

this is crazy... wbc is making a clown out of themselves.. they just want to be involved in the big fights money wise.. i give more repect for the ring title now..

this is one of the reason why boxing is dying ...

 

Whats getting me about all of these belts is the fact all of us seem to agree its bull****. Now I understand it's all about money, not for the good of the sport the scumbags that run these organizations try to make it out as but isnt theres something that can be done to stop it?

Im sure (which I know wont happen) if boxers refused to accept these belts it would end up bankrupting these organizations.

It would be nice to see a boxer only accept The Ring belt as a legit champ's belt and not an alphabet belt.

But, I'll keep dreaming.
