WBC eliminator in September?

    Unless either Virchis or Gomez, as happened with Toney, decide that's way too long to stay out of the ring and decide to take a tune-up to keep the ring rust off...then lose.

    Brrr, that's a bit of a nightmare scenario. That's part of what messed things up beforehand, Toney fighting Peter.

    Don't forget that besides the Olympics, there's also the EURO in June this year which will be carried by the German TV networks that televise boxing as well, so the WBC eliminator would have to happen until late May or it's September anyway.
