WBC President Jose Sulaiman has endorsed former heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko in his election run to become Mayor of Kiev. "As a boxer Vitali Klitschko has the dedication, the temperament, the image, the charisma and the decisive hardworking temperament to become a champion, which are exactly the same qualifications to become the Mayor of Kiev," lauded Sulaiman. "Vitali Klitschko has been one of the greatest all around champions that the WBC has had, [the] reason why we elected him as Emeritus Champion and a World Ambassador for Peace and Good Will, and I am sure that Vitali Klitschko is the best option to rule the beautiful and great City of Kiev and that the citizens will vote to elect him." If Vitali wins the election, he still plans to challenge WBC titleholder Sam Peter this fall.

Klitschko is going to knock Sam Peter out.

If Vitali ever gets back in the ring he probably does beat Peter. Whether or not he ever gets back in the ring is bigger question. I wonder what the over/under on that would be?

I wouldn't vote for a mayor who wasn't 100% committed to governing. If he is going to fight, he needs to fight, if he is going to be a politician, he should politik

After he wins the Mayoral race, he's going to challenge Lennox Lewis for Emperor of Europe.

    Gonna be some heated debates.

    'Candidate Vitali, you're talking nonsense.'

'YOU VANT TO TAKE EET OUTSIDE?!'

Get real, Vitali would never stoop so low. It would be Wlad saying, "come, lets us go outsides and I show you how the cookie crumbles".

Yes,you would vote for him if you were a native of Ukraine's capital Kiev,a reasonable citizen of Kiev of course.
Vitaly is head and shoulders above those corrupt crooks who has reigned there for the last couple of years.
Kiev strongly needs powerful and fresh face-whether he actually works in his office or not is not really that important.
Vitaly's reputation of being honest and straight will bring fresh air into a political graveyard.

The WBC needs to step in and make the fight happen happen or tell Vitali to take a hike, the man has wasted enough of the fans, other fighters, and the WBC's time already, the man hasnt even stepped in the ring in nearly 3 and half years, yet, he gets a title shot right off the bat. It makes no sense, I pray for the sake of the Heavyweight division Vitali either gets beat or backs out of the fight soon, so Peters team can set up for another oppenent.
