Didn't they trawl the morgues to find somebody sufficiently immobile for him to be able to land on?:think

    You are an uninformed simpleton.

Meldonium was legal until January 1, 2016. Vada has not researched the excretion times at all before banning it. They actually haven't done any conclusive research on this. Science is on the side of Povetkin. He is going to use it in the courts to throughly f*ck anyone who ran his name through mud.

    Payback is a bit*h.

Kind of, but they picked a guy who is a known big puncher even if not recently. He's a lot more dangerous than Scuba Scott who is #2 USA ranked on boxrec.

Ultimately, the WBC is going to order this fight to happen again. Wilder may get an exemption for a unification fight, but Povetkin will likely remain the mandatory for whoever the WBC champion is by that point.

At worst, Povetkin will get a token 6 month suspension retroactively applied. There is a slim chance he'll need to fight one more eliminator as punishment, but I wouldn't bet on it.

If he tests clean the next time around, the fight should happen.

Why should he get a suspension if he never broke any doping agnecy rule? The only effer getting sanctioned should be bum squad.

I don't think he will, that's just the worst-case scenario I could see the WBC handing down.

THIS. Povetkin is currently still his mandatory but is being investigated. Is Wilder supposed to sit around and wait? He's staying busy, staying fresh and facing Arreola. Nothing wrong with that. We'll see what happens next.
