I think both Wawrzyk and Martin are likely to be future opponents as they are both on the undercard but doesn't he need to make a mandatory against Povetkin first? There will likely be no more defenses of the title after that anyway.

After WBC World Heavyweight Champion takes on the winner of Wlad/Fury, Povetkin & Joshua. He will have no choice but to KO those other Heavyweights names you threw around.

Take a look at Joe Louis, Larry Holmes & Mike Tyson title defenses.

They're grooming Wawrzyk to face him... He's fighting Shepard on the undercard, expect to see Wawrzyk on a few more Haymon bills against overmatched journeymen before being fed to Wilder sometime in the 1st quarter of next year.

'Deontay Wilder knows how to win and win only?" Yeah, got to agree with that one. Fight tomato cans and no hopers. still risky with a china chin but so far he has managed to "win and win only." "Deontay Wilder is the favorite to ko any active fighter today." In one of Hawkings alternate universes perhaps, not in this one. Dustin "the worm" Nichols haunts his dreams. Bring back Primo Carnera I say and he will change his profession to gas station attendant, cab drvier, pizza delivery man etc. Win and win only....sheeeiiiit.

The Lion of Picardi was stopped after 11 rounds for the first time of his life

Wilder did what he does best, win by KO versus a heavyweight who never been stopped before

Because the Lion of Picardi Duhaupas has an iron chin, he never been stopped ever.

His first stoppage came against the Long legged Titan Deontay Wilder, so no shame in that
