    Remember when Vitali was fighting injuries and wanted a "tune-up" against Maskaev before facing Rahman, and it was highly frowned upon. Even HBO refused to televise it, WBC said no way....
    my my how things have changed, especially when it turned out that Maskaev beat Rahman, a second time.

    FFS. When you hear about stuff like this along with such happenings as the Holyfield-ManBearPig decision it makes you despair. Boxing deserves to be declining for what it's doing to itself. **** the WBC.

    screw oleg. he had a chance to fight wlad in '06 for unification and bitched out and chose some bum. he has no chance.
