**** the WBC I can say whatever the **** I want. I hope wilder does kill someone then maybe they will have the same outrage for ped users as they do words. I mean to be quite frank Wilder hits so hard it’s possible.

No doubt. But I still think it's very distasteful.

A larger fine should counteract the publicity effect, IMHO that's what should happen.

Listen to the faux outrage.

''Omg a fighter wants to destroy his opponent won't somebody think of the children, I thought this was just a game''

Lewis didn't punish Tyson for those comments, he punished him because that was his job.

Joshua said he will punish Parker because again that is his job. This is a punishing sport and punishing is business.

Like I said before, you need to watch something else if this offends you.

WBC should give him a formal warning and tell him to watch what he says, I wouldnt wana see any more than that though. He is an idiot with a very big and loud mouth but he just gets over excited and a bit carried away, he gets so giddy when a microphone is placed infront of him he struggles to actually finish his own sentances and its hard to make sense of him half the time.

Hes just a big kid, take his sweets off him.

I do think what Wilder said was wrong, but to be honest a lot of fighters have that mentality, but they just don't say in order not to cause controversy.

I'm perfectly fine with the fact that most boxers who hit hard go into the fight looking to inflict as much damage as possible and if that means death, so be it.

It's part and parcel of the sport of boxing going back to ancient times. Only real genuine boxing fans, - those who didn't just start watching the sport from when Eddie and Matchroom formed - along with people who have actually been inside a boxing ring themselves, understand this basic premise.

Someone dying in the ring is always a tragedy. As fans of the sport its not something we want to see.

Its something a professional athlete should not be bragging about wanting to do either... Disgraceful to say the least in this day and age.

Spot on. Fighters go into the fight willing to do whatever it takes to win, and it’s rare that they stop and think bout “what if they die”
It’s saying it in public that’s a bit controversial

During this time, Mauricio gives the absolution to Canelo by saying he is not guilty of using PEDS without any doping knowledge...

Let’s get real, boxers put their lifes at risk when they enter the ring. Death can happen at any moment. Considering that, giving the absolution to a drug cheat that could inflict way more damage to his opponent is much more stupid and dangerous than what Wilder has been saying.
