Just watch Mormeck/Bell. It encourages the boxer who's ahead to try and protect their lead. Stupid idea.
Against it, it will just encourage runners to run. As much as I hate controversial decisons that's what makes this sport great. the fact that nobody see's a fight with the same eyes.
I think it would be a bad thing for boxing, personally. Though it would have been good at Sven Ottke's fights!
Definatley against. Nothing can beat the tension as the scores are announced at the end of a close fight, why take that away
It may also lead to fighters taking a bit of a dive if they realise they aren't in with a realistic chance of winning. It would be really sad to see the end of guys answering the bell for the final round and throwing bombs hoping for a lucky KO, which sometimes happens. Ask Frank Bruno......
Not a bad idea. Yeah it takes from the drama but I rather know ahead of time if the judges are cooking something up.
Against. The strategies will change to more staying ahead on points for most fighters instead of going for the KO and some fighters will panic when behind and do stupid things insted of waiting for a chance.
