Why is that? Whyte is now fighting for an interim world title that guarantees him a shot at the Wilder/Fury winner.
Unless he's beaten in the meantime. That's why you get fighters who, once they become mandatory challengers, they don't fight until they get their title shot, or they take easy fights until they get their shot, so they don't lose their position as mandatory challenger.
The same way the current mando is? WBC will allow who they want to fight for that belt They are all over the place regarding rankings Improves Whyte standing for sure if he wins but don't hold ya breath waiting
You said that if Whyte fights AJ for WBO mando... and he loses....he will lose any other mando he has? In what regulation is this stipulated? If and when Whyte beats breazeale he will have WBC mando status, and that is not taken away if he loses to AJ via WBO mando
That's excellent. I've captured two of the best justifications I've seen in my life today. "I think Usyk will take it because obviously he will" - @BoxingABC1 "I haven't checked the rulebook or anything but I still think I'm right." - @Smudge_
And I stand by that. If Whyte fights Joshua as WBO mandatory challenger and loses, he will lose his mandatory position with the WBC. In fact he'd probably lose his mandatory position with the WBC regardless if he won or lost, simply by fighting in a WBO sanctioned fight. That's what I think. Prove me wrong, disagree or STFU.
Na pal, it's a discussion forum for discussion. I've told you what I think. You think otherwise. I think I'm right and you're wrong. I also think you're an antagonistic little pest.
