I have no problem with a Hops-Pascal rematch. Bernard does deserve it. But is he entitled to it as the WBC says he is? And if so, does that mean that every close title defence warrants a rematch? I think the WBC is playing boxing god and disgracing itself once again.

WBC likes to do this mandatory thing a lot

    At HWT Vitali had Rahman

    Then Rahman had Maskaev

Maskaev had Peter McCline winner then Vitali

Then right away Vitali had Gomez

They seem to over load their champs with mandos so they cant unify

Im sure if he gets by hop again dawson will be made mando right away

The Hopkins fight will make them more money.

I'm not too sure whats all the rules, but since Hopkins is champion emeretus with the WBC, it means he can ask for a shot at the belt?

. I think the WBC will continue the bullying until someone in a powerful position calls them out on it and they wont because they are all in bed toghether. I think the WBO and IBF are now that the WBC and WBA were in the 70s.

why the **** is he emeritus

i get the vitali thing he was champ retired due to injury and got challenger rights to the title cause of the circumstance

Hopkins never held the WBC LHWT title at any time and his RING title was taken by Calzaghe

On B-Talk they said they made Dawson the mandatory for the winner of Hopkins-Pascal II. Either way Dawson is getting his title back soon.

Golden Boy pressured the WBC into this decision to get an immediate rematch so Hopkins wouldn't have to risk facing Dawson for it.

I dont like Dawson very much and i do like Pascal but I favor Dawson in a rematch and a Hopkins fight

Dawson seemed to give away their first encounter

he did little he let himself get out worked and just fought with no courage or bravado i actually dont think he ever dug deep or had kilelr instinct

Pascal to me fights in spirts he is inactive and can get it taken to him by a guy who is just active, Dawson won the rounds were he let his hands go. Remember how hurt he had Pascal in the 11th, what if he did that sooner?

Now that Dawson lost the 0 and the recognition expect him to be more aggressive and have URGENCY

As for Dawson Hopkins I pick dawson cause I think the rapid combos will touble the old Bernard like Taylor and Calzaghe were able to do
