WBC orders Canelo to fight Benavidez in 2024

I see once again you have nothing of value to add. No point interacting with you any further.

 

Honestly I can’t be asked with them anymore. I have no problem with anyone being a Canelo fan, but to be so blind to any of his poor decisions or the favouritism he has received is just being a fanboy plain and simple.

 

Well, some of them have all but said they simply don't care who he fights. He's "Earned it".

 

Yeah, no need, you can ask a question and if you want to see what I think you can simply read one of the many essays I laid out for you. The reason for my response is because this conversation got ridiculous.

I've stated where I stand, and you continue to go in circles.

So in conclusion to our stupid conversation, you can be sad about who Canelo is fighting next all you want, because when Canelo eventually fights Benavidez, I'm sure you will be happy because boxing will be fixed.

 

He knocks out both.

 

Why were you crying about Benavidez' size if you think this?

 

My point was personal, and I'm making the point that this passion from some of you stems from hate/envy what have you, because this passion is very selective when there are far worse tragedies in boxing at the moment like the one I mentioned Bivol-Beterbiev and not a peep from many of those talking Canelo.

Everything that needed to be said has been said over and over again in this 7 page thread. His haters will act like it's the biggest disgrace since Luis Resto's fight against Billy Collins, and us more reasonable fans can understand why at the tail end of his career he's getting a few easy paydays before he either retires or takes the harder fight.

 

That's my overall opinion about fighters now a days. They wait around fighting weak competition in hopes of snagging a pay day with the champ. I think Canelo certainly picks and chooses his opposition, I think it has more to do with business than being scared. Canelo's resume is rather stacked, Benavidez hasn't really beat anyone of note. To be honest he looks basic to me. GGG and Bivol are much better fighters than Benavidez. Let's just say Benavidez wins, is he going to go out there and challenge other top fighters? Is he going to fight Beterbiev or Bivol? I don't think so. I'm only interested to see the fight because there is a chance for a brawl, but it's rather low on my list to be honest.

 

Canelo doesn't have to fight Benavidez, because the latter doesn't belong in that division.

Just another fanboy response from someone who hates it when their hero is critiqued. Your many ‘essays’ have either called me a hater for disagreeing with you or brought up other fighters who have no relevancy to this debate.
