What does that mean for Breazeale? he has been mandatory for ages now - I thought a champion must fulfil mandatory requirements every year.

He will be paid step-aside money and promised a shot at a later date.

    Who cares.

We want to see these two go at it again, and this time we want the rightful winner announced...

If it's in the UK, does this mean there will be one U.S. judge and no UK judge?

After all, Wilder agreed to no U.S. judge and one UK judge (who scored it a draw) last time?

This fight wont be in the UK, trust me on that.

As its in the USA again, Fury gets stiffed on the cards again. I think he loses second time around on the cards, but wins the fight in actual fact.

If the rematch takes place in the US I can see it going the same way, it’s really an uphill task for the foreign fighter. As we saw in GGG v Canelo 2 one favourable decision doesn’t mean they’ll hesitate to do it again. I expect Fury to comfortably outbox Wilder but again it’s a lottery whether he can survive 12 without eating a bomb. Excited for this one.

Whyte was no1 with the WBC so it means nothing.

Brezeale is just another journeyman American bum

Fury owns this division followed by AJ and Wilder

English traitor no doubt! He was persuaded to stab his fellow country man in the back by the deep American pocket books. Conspirecy theories abound! GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!

I watched the first fight, and loved it. But this makes a mockery of the rankings system. All those boxers who tried to get to no1 or mandatory get stiffed.

I like the rematch, fury will be in better shape but also Wilder will have the balls to let his hands go more

This will be staged where Deontay wants it to, as he's the reigning belt holder. I'd be surprised if Deontay voluntarily gives us his hometurf advantage.

WBC makes up the rules as they go along. TBF, their top 15 is way better than any of the other orgs, they just are completely inconsistent in applying their own rules.

Dom doesn't deserve to be a mandatory challenger anyway. Honestly, if all parties were smart, they would put him on the feature undercard, facing Ortiz or Joyce. They could afford to pay him a higher purse for a good fight like that than he would probably get as a ho hum mandatory appearing on general Showtime. Then, if he won (and I'd favor him slightly against Joyce and make him a live underdog against Ortiz), he would stand to make VASTLY more money, because it could potentially make a clash with the Fury Wilder winner a PPV fight.
