A KO is a KO. Nothing desperate about it. Unless it hurts your narrative I guess... And Haye didn't KO Chisora. Chisora beat the count, and the ref waved it off. A TKO... In contrast Whyte KO'd Chisora. He was the first to do so. Sorry it upsets you. Besides looking at the last 5 wins is pretty standard stuff. Picking the last 13 wins?Seems pretty desperate. Why not 6? Oh that's a KO of an unbeaten fighter. This content is protected Keep crying
Whilst banned, I'm sure he's enjoying the meltdown some of you are having. I'm not even confident the fight will get to the ring, but these tears are delicious
I will beieve it when they are both in the ring and the first bell goes. Until then I will wait patiently to see what happens.
Using Whyte's KO of old, slow Lucas Browne to prove your point is pretty laughable stuff. You'll be using old, Covid-ravaged Povetkin as a reference point next. Even the very best version of Lucas Browne is no Tyson Fury. Fury will use his Southpaw jab to keep Whyte -- who has poor balance, according to a poster in this very thread -- from getting inside and getting set to land that vaunted left look, and will stand Whyte on his head to the point that Whyte won't know what day of the week it is. And you will cry a river of salt tears when it happens. If, indeed, you haven't gotten yourself banned by then.
The only reason you didn't read it is because I'm not telling you what you want to read and know. Whyte isn't as good as you think he is. Accept it.
OK.... I get the bit about Whyte being shorter and also his short range punching power but where do Whyte's long arms fit into this? You know... the ones that are shorter than Fury's and Wilder's and Klitschko's...
Whyte's reach is listed as 78 inches (which is also what Usyk's reach is listed as). Fury's reach is listed as 85 inches. Sure, they won't be standing there and T-posing in the ring; but having said that, Fury seems to utilise his reach and straight shots more effectively than Whyte.
I mean, 78 inches does seem like a decent reach for a Heavyweight. (To offer this some perspective, Chisora's reach is listed as 74 inches, Parker's is listed as 76 inches, Ruiz Jr's reach is listed as 74 inches, and Dave Allen's is listed as 75 inches). It's just that Fury has a sizeable advantage over Whyte in this area.
It's not beyond the realms of possibility that if Fury is completely unmotivated by Whyte as an opponent, he simply vacates the WBC title (with Whyte vs Wallin then being mandated by the WBC for their title I guess) and opts to wait around for the winner of Usyk vs Joshua II.
Still looking for a response to my question Let's see if anyone has the balls to answer Name Fury's top 5 opponents...
