I can't see how anyone thinks Whyte has anything other than a punchers chance along with relying on the fact that Fury has lost ability/motivation/fitness etc against Fury.
How is Fury better now? You can clearly see in his fights since he return(which have been against very poor opposition) that he doesn't posses the head movement, foot work and overall defence that Fury had against Wlad and Chisora 2. The same whyte that righfully beat Chiosra on points in their first fight (which was a very entertaining fight) and brutally KOed Chisora in their second.
It was an entertaining fight my friend, Not quite as entertaining as when Dillian let old man Povetkin lay him out cold in his promoters back yard though. It would be that lack of movement that I would be more concerned about.
Officially triggered I see. People bring this up because it is another in a long lost of lies from Fury. He is a con man and a fraud. Just like when he faked Covid. I'll ask you like I ask everybody else. Can you name Fury's 5 top opponents? I bet you can't
I've met Tyson on numerous occasions, he's not a conman at all you twat - he's a lovely bloke. What you see is what you get. And yes he did have COVID, his brother also had it and needed to go to hospital for a few days. Anyway, I look forward to him steamrolling Whyte and coming back here and twisting your nipples as you cry over your Brixton Bum Boy.
At this point **** it, let Whyte get his shot, just pace this fight right along with the Usyk/Joshua rematch so the next fight is winner vs. winner. Sidenote: Did the WBC ever order a Wilder mandatory against anyone?
Heavier yes due the weight he has put on and sitting down on punches more but not a heavy puncher. Fury was unable to hurt low level guys such as Wallin and Pianetta. Yes he battered Wilder but Wilder is glass jawed who has been dropped low level journeymen and avoided big punchers his whole career like the plague.
Rather coincidentally, Wallin is the man Whyte ducked out of fighting, citing a "shoulder injury" ... only for said injury to miraculously heal up as soon as there was talk of Fury vs Whyte being mandated by the WBC.
Having that reach and vicious left hook means nothing if Whyte -- who has poor balance -- can't slip Fury's straight shots and get inside the jab to land the left hook. And even if he does land it and drops Fury, there's very little guarantee he can actually keep Fury down. Because Wilder certainly couldn't.
