Mak (maybe) lacks some basic skills and up to now was relying on his strength and overhand right. He has some head movement though, but it comes in the form of some disturbing twitching. ;-) Don't know if his defense skillset is good it hasn't been tested in the pro's as far as i can see, seems to have at least a decent chin though.
This content is protected Makhmudov vacated his WBC silver belt and pulled out of the fight, simply ducked Zhan
How come WBC matches these monsters to fight each other, whereas they let their champion Fury to fight relatively midgets the likes of Chisora, Whyte etc? It's not fair.
Anyone keep track of what percentage of these "ordered" fights come to fruition? Can't be higher than twenty percent I'd guess.
I was just about to post something simlar, the WBC have no issue ordering two big bad eastern euro heavys up against each other but remember back to the golden age of Wilders WBC reign. He was taking on giants like duhaupas, brezeale and Washington without a word from the WBC . The same as you posted about Fury applies also.
Zhan K is fighting in Germany in June against TBA. Not sure a fight against A Mak. makes sense for either.
It looks like Mahmudov doesn't want to risk it because there is a possibility that he might lose, Zhan is underrated and I would like to see him against a better fighter...
I agree. He's headlining a Universum event so I hope they put in the money to attract a name opponent. A Mak. would be a great fight for sure. But I think he's dropped his regional belt and is looking to fight out of Nrt America.
