WBC orders Vanes-Lara rematch

Another shitty, boring fight? No thanks.

 

I wanna see it just so the winner can get his props

 

HBO probably won't be thrilled with this one but it'll be hard to find someone who doesn't believe a rematch is justified. Rewatch the 7th and 8th rounds and you'll see Lara fighting with an urgency that you rarely see from him. He wanted that KO and he'll get it in a rematch...

 

C'mon, it wasn't that bad. Rios has everyone spoiled to the point that a bloodbath is expected every fight. Despite the outcome, I enjoyed it and I look forward to a rematch. Canelo's off the hook. You're happy about that...right?

I'd love to see this fight happen again. They are both highly skilled fighters and I enjoyed this fight more then the mares fight. Not sure why but I think the low blow fest just left a bad taste in my mouth.

 

Ambivalent at best. If Lara comes to fight like he did in the Hearns match then it would be good. Clearly not what happened last time out though.

 

I'm not thrilled about it, but it should happen.

Lara was on his way to winning IMO. The rematch helps him if he realizes he needs to look good in order to win and build his name value and fights accordingly. If he fights a negative fight like he did for most of the first match, this won't help him at all.

 

rematch is needed but not sure I will watch it. Only watch the first time because people swore these two bums could beat #teamPrinceN member Canelo but nobody believes that now

 

The rematch is necessary but I would be lying if I said I'm thrilled to watch slow ass Vanes missing shots all night and a boring, dirty Lara throwing 5 punches per round, running around scared and using low blows and headbutts and MMA bloodchokes whenever Vanes gets too close because the cuban cant fight for **** on the inside.

It should be clear by now those clowns aren't on Canelo's level :verysad

i enjoyed the fight all because of the fact that they had bad blood. Disliking lara though, usually dont dislike cuban fighters either. The low blow is dirty, the headbutts were dirty. You never punch a guy in the nuts on purpose or headlock a guy in boxing wth was that?

 

Watch another sport if you don't like watching a good chess-match between highly ranked contenders of a division. The rematch needs to happen and I look forward to it. Each guy is probably going to want to do more than the first time around, so it should be more exciting.

 

Rematch shouldn't need to happen at all because Lara clearly won, no matter how annoyingly he fought.
