Nice try by WBC trying to get the 2 top american prospects to fight already when this fight has major title unification written all over it

This is actually a great fight, too soon to pick a winner

This one needs a little more time marinate before it's ready to cook. I tend to think at least one, if not both, of them will hold a belt before this intriguing match up comes off. Fortunately, though, I don't believe this will be that much longer. Both Andres should get a shot at a strap within their next two fights.

Since when was Jose Sillyman the type to protect Euro fighters? His company almost went bankrupt because they got sued once they decided they didn't want a Euro fighter to be their LHW champ- they just took the title away to give it back to Roy.

The WBC's probably just getting a backup plan in place for when they inevitably make the Bute-Froch champ make the choice between which belt they want, knowing that the champ will likely drop them because they won't like being strongarmed. It's going to be a Tim Bradley situation all over again.

If this is true then HBO should pick this fight up ... two Olympian medalist ... somebodies "0" must go.

Dirrell by UD or late rounds stoppage ... too active ... too big

This fight won't happen - I think that Goosen/Tutor is going to go after the WBO championship.

It would be great and I think they will fight hard, but this fight seems to early ... It would be a nice fight for a vacant title, interim title, or a unification bout.

Why there is so much noise about these guys? I've seen 4-5 boring fights of Dirrell and 1 good one (vs Victor Oganov), and the same score of Ward -- only his last fight vs Miranda was interesting. They have no reason to fight each other -- they are not good enough to make a nice show

Two talented guys boxing in their physical prime? Must be in the US. For the past decade in Europe, two semi-talented guys seem to only meet each other at retirement dinners.

Direll is too slick, too accurate and too fast handed to lose to Ward. Good fight tho. Dirrell just loses to a very big puncher and when he gets involved.

Ward will go after Balzsay, much less risk way bigger reward. Dirrell will find himself in an eliminator against someone like Bika or Marcus Johnson.
