Kovalev is still the only man to stop him. I could see Beterbiev becoming the 2nd

Pointless. Only worthwhile fight left for Beterbiev at LHW is Bivol. Pascal should be paid to step aside if need be and fans can be treated to the fight that actually matters at LHW.

Beterbiev should fight Kovalev after all. It would still be a interesting a bit.

Do you want Kovalev to die?

No, but I believe Kovalev still can put up a better fight than what he did against Clenelo. Remember, he was drained to a zombie, crippled by rehydration clause, wasn't allowed proper preparation time, and that was his fourth training camp that year (he had 2 before fighting Yarde), there was literally no way for him to show his peak form. So he can do better. And the fight should happen at a catchweight if Kovalev cannot make 175.

Pascal is brave enough to take it, and get a life altering beating for his trouble.

I suppose. But if Beterbiev cleans house at LHW I'd much rather see him try his fortunes out at CW. I know a fight between these two in the pro ranks in an unfulfilled dream but it doesn't hold the same value any more unfortunately and is probably best left untouched. Willing to change my mind possibly if Kovalev shows some good form against a quality opponent but as of right now... No desire to see it.

Do u want to see those brutal body shots to alcoholics liver? 1-2 years ago Kovalev had sparring with Gvozdyk and said that no one can beat Gvozdyk at LHW, Gvozdyk outclassed him.

The Kovalev beatings took years off his life probably. He's proven to be stubbornly resilient in maintaining some sort of relivance since though. Have to give him credit though did not see his career continuing in a positive light after the Kovalev fights.

Definitely. a lot tougher than his fellow Haitian-Canadian compatriot Stevenson. Have always said and still maintain that Pascal would have gotten the better of him just like he did in the amateurs.

I think Pascal has been a great servant to the sport and actually worry for him here at this stage of his career.
