WBC plans to order an immediate rematch for Pascal-Hopkins

I think that won't happen cause Dawson has a rematch clause in his contract in which Pascal must fight him first before Hopkins fights Pascal again.

 

I hear Dawson may fight Cloud next. Cloud looked good in his fight the other day, and there is a belt on the line.

Let dawson fight him, Bhop rematch Pascal, the winner fight each other.

Would anyone complain?

Dawson will rather fight Pascal in the rematch then facing Cloud. Dawson wants that rematch in a worse possible way. I think Hopkins should fight Cloud in which imo Hopkins will easily embarrass Cloud to a decision or a late tko.

 

Thats just wrong on Hopkins though....he won that fight....he aint getting any younger....and the way he fought here....he wanted to go out with one big win before he retired....he probably trained like a fighter going for his first title....the way he fought tonight...was just amazing to see especially at his age....

 

expect Pascal to try to take this to court and everywhere else delaying this for as long as possible. Hoping the Old man loses a little bit more in his legs.

P.S. Froch Fans. Andre Ward is the best Super Middleweight, beating Pascal isn't that big of a deal. A near geriatric did it.

 

why rematch? They should just change the 'score'.

if i'm Hopkins, I wouldn't take the rematch....I won it, it's clear and the 2nd fight won't reverse this decision.
