My guess is same as it was before this announcement; that Povetkin will fight several more times in Russia and just ignore sanctioning bodies for good.

Would be funny if the WBC gave him a lesser punishment after the last year or so of their "making an effort to clean up the sport."

Boxing doesn't know what to do with their cheaters. They don't know if they wanna give them a timeout or a TUE.

Good that he's banned. And quite frankly, the Duhaupas fight should get overturned. But we all know that doesn't happen anymore in boxing.

Duhaupus did it for the money. God will take care of Headvetkin like he took care of Khan, Margarito, Pac and the rest of the cheats.

He is a cheat, though still waiting on technicalities to set it in stone. Last weekend Sky was questioned, or should I say grilled by UKAD, and Sky got the business end of that exchange. When it was exposed that WADA had a system of TUE's for top athletes, it also exposed Team Sky since all their big dogs are TUE'd up.

Well it's now been shown that these marginal steroids that they are on, thanks to the TUEs... apparently Sky has been consuming a shitload of them, we're talking massive quantities. Those tossers have been cheating for years, Wiggins, Froome, and the rest of them.

This article below is one that applies to boxing imo. Witness the similarities between Sky and Mayweather.

id add it to the fact it was an american court that made the ruling in favour of wilder against povetkin even after he was cleared of any wrong doing regarding drug taking

its like crying to your mommy and she takes your side, but that court judgement was a joke

povetkin should counter sue in a russian court and see what happens

Boxing's track record of handling these things is pretty terrible. It doesn't help when the precedent was set 20 years ago to give the offending fighter an NC instead of an outright DQ loss. Since then, it seems they've only gotten lazier. Feels like half the time they don't even bother overturning the win to an NC anymore.

These tues are very strange there never for testerone or anything blatant it's always stuff like eczema, ADHD, decongestant, asthma really random things which a lot of these athlete 'seem to share'.
Why do you think that is?
