From that article it sounds like the WBC is bankrupt and Don King has also declared that he is done with boxing LOL. What a clown show.

Oh ****, I just finished reading the article...

"Don King then bellowed that he too was finished with boxing, at which time the room emptied."

King was probably just blowing smoke. It's quite like him to take advantage of a tumultuous moment to try and attract some controversy.

He'll "change his mind" in a week.

King's still got the WBA in his back pocket. Don't underestimate him.

Sulaiman resigned cause he sees and knows that Oscar DelaHoya and Bob Arum are fvcking up boxing big time with these FIXED FIGHTS that are happening, a now Pacquiao-Margarito is another FIXED FIGHT and there are gonna be some major lawsuits to make Oscar and Arum payback hundreds of millions they stole.
and since the WBC belt is on the line for the Pac-Margarito FIXED FIGHT, Sulaiman is smart enough to get out now, before the "investigations" begins.

    Damn.

It's only a week in lock-up though - he isn't going back to prison.

He's apparently still got his date for December 11th intact.

    Fat Dan's twitter.

-Word from disgusting WBC's convention: president for life Jose Sulaiman resigned. Good riddance, but I'm sure he'll be talked into returning

-Sulaiman is a drama queen. I think this has happened other times. Hope it sticks, but by Thurs I figure he'll be re-elected unanimously.
