I believe Peter would fight the #2 Contender Virchis for the Interim belt.

 

All the orgs are corrupt, boxing needs a massive overhaul and a commission which mandates how things happen. The orgs cannot be counted on to run **** in a legit manner.

 

That would be a fun fight to watch

peter has fought 2 eliminations. he has fought world class ops to get where he is.....and is getting the door in his face becuase of what...vitali is back whoopde****ingdo. just becuase that wastegman wants to fight for a title straight off...without fighting contenders or a warm up fight remeber ali had to fight quarry and bonavena 2 highly regarded contenders. without giving peter a warning.....maskaev was going to fight sam ages ago it was pratecly a made fight. so now that peter is now out of the picture lets get down to big business.

anyways virchis:rofl he is slow as **** especially for his size he fights like valuev has limited skills and abilty...he was outboxed by michael sprott now if you know anything about sprott is that he cant punch hard and he isnt a good boxer...when your getting out boxed by a 5'11 feather fisted puncher...then i see loads of room to improve virchis is in no way to compete for peters claim.

 

From what I understand Maskaev is vacating the belt in order to take on Vitali. Which I guess is understandable, Maskaev must not have made a ****-load of money throughout his career so he wants to take the risk that has the biggest reward. As for Peter, if Maskaev DOES vacate I'd like to see Peter and McCall mix it up for the title.

 

stupid organizations. If he wants the dough, then he should drop the belt and fight Vitali. it'll be ****ed up and make it even more jumbled in the HW division but Peter deserves his shot at the belt. He's been getting dicked around more then long enough.

 

Then they'll have to call off the press conference they've got announced for later this month for Vitali's McCline fight.

So seeing as how Vitali is already fighting someone else, Maskaev's only remaining cash cow fight would be against Wladimir.

Regardless of what Maskaev does, I think Peter should fight one of the other two mandatories the WBC has already asigned, in McCall and Vitali. Since Vitali is already fighting McCline, Peter should fight McCall for the vacated belt (which will be even more worthless than usual, if the man who won it vacates it)

 

The McCline/Klitschko fight's happening in September, isn't it? Maybe I'm wrong about the deal with Maskaev, I'm just going by what I heard.

 

I will bet you that the WBC pulls some bogus **** and forces Peter to face the highest rated contender out there and who do you think this will be? V Klitschko mark my words the WBC is biased in favor of these ****s.
V Klitschko shouldnt even be considered in the top ten right now, he has been retired for a couple of years and should have to fight a couple fights before being rated in the top ten.

 

If I was Peter I'd tell the WBC to put their belt where the sun doesnt shine and move on with my career.

 

For ****s sake, Maskaev should be forced to fight Peter or be stripped - it's that simple. Then Peter can fight Maskaev or fight for a vacant title against McCall or Virchis with the winner facing Vitali should he defeat McCline.

 

Maskaev's being a ***** because he knows this is an impossible fight for him to win with his glass chin, slow legs and sometimes leaky defence. Peter would rush him and remove him in the 1st or 2nd.

This isn't glass chinned Rahman.

But he should absolutely be stripped and disrespected for this. Worst part is that some of these fools pick Maskaev to win...
